Chapter 2: Safety precautions
Consult the manual regarding cautionary sections related to safety
In this service manual, precautionary sections are delineated as follows in accordance
with the degree of urgency or the level of danger or injury.
Warning
Used in cases where ignoring the warning may lead to death, serious injury or
moderate injury.
CAUTION
Used in cases where ignoring the warning may lead to physical damage or the
potential for mild injury.
"Mild injury" denotes cases where hospitalization or lengthy hospitalization is not
required for treatment.
"Physical damage" denotes damage to the product itself or extensive damage to
surrounding objects other than the product, such as the room or surrounding items.
CAUTION
Used when there is the potential for physical damage to the instrument.
NOTE
Used when operational performance is improved, or understanding of
explanatory content is facilitated.
