7.1 Troubleshooting
7.1.1 Identifying Problem Site from Error Message

Wavelength correction
not performed
Wavelength correction was
not performed
Perform automatic wavelength correction
EEPROM was not initialized
Initialize EEPROM.
Can execute from PDA Utility's Service
Menu -> Instrument Information ->
System menu
The PDA circuit board is not
connected, or board is
defective.
Connect the PDA circuit board, or after
replacing, restart. If problem recurs,
contact Shimadzu Representative.
Detector not READY at
start of measurement
Measurement was started
while in a different error
state.
Resolve existing error state.
Previous measurement was
not completed normally.
Restart the instrument and the PC.
Mobile phase is leaking
inside the instrument.
Eliminate leak, and check plumbing
connections.
