4.1 Manufacturer of the machine

safety light curtain must not be opened.

protective device can lead to a loss of the protective function.
4.2 Operator of the machine

Changes to the electrical integration of the safety light curtain in the machine
controller and changes to the mechanical mounting of the safety light curtain
require another risk assessment. The results of this risk assessment may require
the entity operating the machine to meet the obligations of a manufacturer.
