How to fix corrupt parameters on SICK GM35 Measuring Instruments?

If the SICK Measuring Instruments displays ‘Display output: Corrupt Parameters: Reset Memory’, press Enter to perform a system restart, which resets the parameters to the factory settings. If necessary, reconfigure individual parameters. If the error message reappears, replace the control unit, or contact SICK Service.
