5.8.2 Procedure
DANGER
Maintenance work
→ Only trained staff is allowed to carry out maintenance work.
→ Consider the safety instructions (see chapter “Safety Instruc-
tions”, page 9).
Note
Ensure that the following conditions are met before you open the device:
▶ Ensure that the device is de-energized (mains voltage and 24 V
DC
supply) and pro-
vide a safeguard to prevent unintentional restart.
▶ Wait until the capacitor discharge is finished. The discharge time depends on the
used device (see device description in the following).
▶ Check the de-energized state by measuring at all power connectors. Check that the
7-segment display is off.
▶ Connect the power connections via a short-circuit and ground them.
▶ Cover or lock neighboring energized components.
▶ Ensure accessibility to the device for the following works.

Replacing the fan
1. Remove the fastening screws [A] of the cover (Torx 10).
2. Then, remove the other fastening screws [B] of the cover (Torx 20) and remove the
cover carefully from the device to the front.
3. Unplug the connector from the female connector at the fan [C].
