Ground the motor housing in the machine!
DANGER
Dangerous shock currents
connect the motor housing to the ground of the machine or
connect the ground terminal of the motor connector to the central ground
point of the machine.
→ Consider the following with regard to shielding: Always use shielded
motor cables.
Note
Voice coil motors are generally connected via the motor phases U and W. The current
parameters of voice coil motors can only be indicated as sine peak amplitudes (A
p
), not
as RMS values (A
rms
).

8.13 Shielding at Device Housing
The device provides the opportunity to connect cable shields directly at the device. For
this purpose shield connection clamps by Phoenix are used.
