If Source 1 is regarded as the priority source, a transfer to the alternative source (Source 2)
takes place and an automatic return to the priority source according to the diagram below:

In addition to the various delay times for limit violation, the transfer is also influenced by
the interlock times under parameter P07.n.02.
•
The tie breaker TB is always closed after the breakers of the sources. Opening of the tie
breaker takes place simultaneously (see point 2). The time delay for closing of the tie
breaker is defined under P02.30.
•
An automatic return can be prevented by parameter P08.04 or a digital input.
