5.1.4.3 Behavior of the ATC6500 after inserting a module
As soon as the power supply is connected to the ATC6500, it automatically detects a new
expansion module. If the system configuration deviates from the last configuration stored (if,
for example, a module has been inserted or removed), the ATC6500 prompts the user to
confirm the new configuration.
On confirmation, the new configuration is stored and accepted, otherwise it reminds the user
of the deviation every time it is subsequently switched on.

Addressing the modules
When subs
equently removing an expansion module, attention must be paid to the
addressing of the module.
The following message is displayed as soon as a new configuration has been detected:
