6.5 Inserting and labeling the power supply, interface module, and
electronic modules
6.5.1 Requirements
Properties
• The modules are mounted on the associated terminal modules.
• A labeling strip enables the interface module and the electronic modules to be labeled.
• When an interface or electronic module is plugged in for the 󹪝rst time, the coding element
latches into place on the terminal module. This prevents the insertion of a wrong module.
The interface module and the electronic modules are self-coding.
