10.7.1
General information
Cabinets can be cooled in a number of ways including the following:
● Filtered fans
● Heat exchanger
● Cooling unit
The decision in favor of one of these methods will depend on the prevailing ambient
conditions and the cooling power required.
The air routing within the cabinet and the ventilation clearances specified here must be
ensured. Other components or cables must not be installed in these areas.
You must comply with the following specifications when installing SINAMICS components:
● Ventilation clearance
● Cable routing
● Air guidance, air-conditioner
