7.7 REPLACEMENT OF THE JAWS ON THE AUTOMATIC OPTIONAL CLAMP - OPTIONAL
To replace the jaws procede as follows:
1) Enter the “Maintenance / Feeder Unit” menu and press START.
2) Turn off the machine and unplug from the mains.
3) Raise the safety shield, loosen the screw (D2) and remove the automatic clamp by pulling it out to the left (Fig.
38).
4) Loosen the 2 screws (V2) (Fig. 78) and remove the set of jaws installed.
5) If the jaws are mixed (2.0÷2.8 + A), replace the upper one.
6) Fit the new set of jaws, ensuring that they are buttino against the lower seat (Fig. 79) and centred on the rear
seat.
7) Tighten teh 2 screws (V2) to secure the jaws.
NOTE: jaws “B” can be used only when the standard clamp (reading) is placed on “Side B”.

ATTENTION: the jaws are usually replaced in pairs. Mixed jaws can be used only with 2.0 mm
to 2.8 mm thick keys.
