The calibrating sequence (if machine zeroes are not involved) is always:
1) L100 Standard Clamp (Cutting clamp + Reading clamp)
2) L1 Automatic Clamp (optional).
After the 1st calibration (ch. 5.7.1.1) proceed with the 2nd calibration (ch. 5.7.1.2), special cases excepted (page
50.
5.7.1.1 CALIBRATING THE L100 STANDARD CLAMP (1ST CALIBRATING)
- CUTTER SIDE CLAMP -
Beforestartingthecalmpcalibration,checkthattherearenokeys(orother)ttedtoclamps.
ATTENTION: if the machine is UC199 with Loader Unit, remove the automatic clamp and
loader (see Ch. 5.8.3) before proceeding.
ATTENTION: carefully clean the Z20 template, test key Z3 and clamps before gauging.
Select L100-STANDARD and press ENTER; the display will show:
L100-STANDARD S: A
Manual adjustment:
X=+000 Y=+000
To calibrate [START]
Press START; the display will show:
ATTENTION

read carefully the
operating manual.
Press START.
Fit TEST key blank
on Left side.
See operating manual.
[START]
• raise the safety shield.
• place the test key blank Z3 on side A of the standard cutting clamp.
• close the safety shield.
• PressSTARTtoseeonthedisplay,rst:
TEST key-cutting
in progress !
And then:
Fit cut key on
reader clamp to
check measurements.
[START]
• Removethekeyfromthecuttingclamp,cleanthekeyandttosideAofthereadingclamp.
