Serial Number:
displays the machine’s serial number that should correspond to the serial No that is stamped on the back of the
machine(ifabsent,enterthe13numbersintheserialnumber,usingthearrowkeys.PressENTERtoconrm
the number).

type of UC199.
Keys cut:
number of keys cut. (To reset the value, hold down the SHIFT+CLEAR+START keys for approx. 2 seconds).
SW Version:
Software version of the program installed on the machine.
2 – CUTTER MATERIAL:
Cutter material = 1
(0 = HSS)
(1 = Hard metal)

This option is used to view/set the type of cutters to be used, in HSS (enter 0) or hard metal (enter 1).
The UC199 key-cutting machine uses hard metal cutters.
To set a different cutter material invert the pulleys (*):
- low speed for HSS tools
- high speed for hard metal carbide tools
