2-16-9-2 Measurement preparation
1. For measurement, select an area in a bay where the waves are gentle
and the water depth is about 40 m.
2. Use the hoist unit to set the transducer in the dome. (If the hoist unit is
installed.)
3. For the subsequent work, a thin rope should be moved to the bottom of
the ship. (See Fig. 2-94.)

4. Use an anchor for the bow. If possible, use another anchor for the
stern to fix the ship. (See Fig. 2-95.)

5. Set the mounting brackets of the fishing rods. (See Fig. 2-96.)

③: Ensure that there are transducers, including this one, at the
vertical direction cross-section of the ship.
①②: Set as far as possible so that positions ①, ② and ③
constitute the apexes of an equilateral triangle.
