The SAS backplane board contains the Molex
connector for interfacing to 2.5 SAS or S-ATA disk
drives. In addition, the board contains four
seven-position vertical SAS connectors that bring
each of the four SAS links from the I/O board.
This board contains the electronic chassis serial
number.
