Air Cleaner Element Removal and Installation

Removal
1) Lift and support the fuel tank. Refer to “Fuel Tank
Removal and Installation in Section 1G (Page 1G-
9)”.
2) Remove the air cleaner box cover (1).
3) Remove the air cleaner element (2).
Installation
Install the air cleaner element in the reverse order of
removal.

Removal
1) Lift and support the fuel tank. Refer to “Fuel Tank
Removal and Installation in Section 1G (Page 1G-
9)”.
2) Remove the IAP sensor (1) from the air cleaner box.
3) Disconnect the ISC valve hose (2) and PCV hose
(3).
4) Remove the bolt.
5) Loosen the clamp screw (LH).
6) Disconnect the IAT sensor coupler (4).
7) Loosen the clamp screw (RH).
8) Disconnect the PAIR hose (5).
9) Remove the air cleaner box.
