5C-14 Clutch:
Clutch Removal

1) Drain engine oil. Refer to “Engine Oil and Filter
Replacement in Section 0B (Page 0B-10)”.
2) Remove the right side cowling. Refer to “Exterior
Parts Removal and Installation in Section 9D
(Page 9D-14)”.
3) Disconnect the HO2 sensor coupler (1) and oil
pressure switch lead wire (2).
4) Remove the clutch cover (3).
5) Remove the clutch outer cover (4) and cushion (5)
from the clutch cover.
6) Remove the gasket (6) and dowel pins.
7) Remove the clutch springs and pressure plate (7).
NOTE
Loosen the clutch spring set bolts little by
little and diagonally.
8) Remove the clutch drive plates (8) and driven plates
(9).
