Rear Brake Pedal Removal and Installation

Removal
1) Remove the master cylinder assembly. Refer to
“Rear Brake Master Cylinder Assembly Removal
and Installation (Page 4A-14)”.
2) Disconnect the rear brake light switch lead wire
coupler.
3) Remove the rear brake pedal as shown in the rear
brake pedal construction. Refer to “Rear Brake
Pedal Construction (Page 4A-17)”.
Installation
CAUTION
!
Replace the snap ring with a new one.
Install the rear brake pedal as shown in the rear brake
pedal construction. Refer to “Rear Brake Pedal
Construction (Page 4A-17)”.

1. Washer 3. Rear brake return spring hook : Apply grease. : Do not reuse.
2. Snap ring : 5.5 N⋅m (0.55 kgf-m, 4.0 lb-ft) : Apply thread lock to the thread part.
