4) Connect a 12 volts battery by using the battery lead wire to
the service coupler. (12-19)
5) Insert the needle-pointed probes to the lead wire coupler.
6) Measure the voltage at the R/Bl wire A and ground.
7) If OK, then measure the voltage at the R/Bl wire A and B/Br
wire B.
IAP sensor input voltage: 4.5 – 5.5 V
(+ R/Bl – - Ground)
(+ R/Bl – - B/Br)
09900-25008: Multi circuit tester set
09900-25009: Needle-pointed probe set
36890-28H00: Battery lead wire (option)
Tester knob indication: Voltage ()
Is the voltage OK?
Step 1 (When indicating P0105-H:)
1) Stop the engine.
2) Check the IAP sensor coupler 1 for loose or poor contacts.
If OK, then check the IAP sensor lead wire continuity.
3) Disconnect the IAP sensor coupler.
4) Insert the needle-pointed probes to the lead wire coupler.
5) Check the continuity between R/Bl wire A and G/B wire C.
If the sound is not heard from the tester, the circuit condition
is OK.
YES Go to Step 2.
