Suzuki RM-Z250 - Stator Removal

ELECTRICAL SYSTEM 15-19
• Install the dowel pins 3 and gasket 4.

• Install the magneto cover 5.
• Tighten the magneto cover bolts (A, B, C) to the specified
torque.
NOTE:
* The bolts A are 5 mm longer than the others.
* Fit the clutch cable bracket to the bolt B.
 Magneto cover bolt: 11 N·m (1.1 kgf-m, 8.0 lbf-ft)
• Install the gearshift lever. (9-7)
• Pour engine oil. (2-13)
STATOR
REMOVAL
• Remove the magneto cover. (15-19)
• Remove the clamp 2 by removing its bolts 1.
• Remove the CKP sensor 4 along with stator 5 by removing
stator bolts 3.
INSTALLATION
• Install the stator 1, CKP sensor 2 and clamp 3.
NOTE:
Be sure the grommet 4 is set to the magneto cover.
• Tighten the stator bolts 5 and CKP sensor bolts 6 to the
specified torque.
 Magneto stator bolt: 5.5 N·m (0.55 kgf-m, 4.0 lbf-ft)
CKP sensor bolt: 5.5 N·m (0.55 kgf-m, 4.0 lbf-ft)
• Install the magneto cover. (above)
Replace the gasket 4 with a new one.
