14-10 COOLING SYSTEM
CRANKCASE COVER
• Install the dowel pins 1 and gasket 2.

• Fit the right crankcase cover 3.
• Tighten the right crankcase cover bolts (a, b, c) to the
specified torque.
 Right crankcase cover bolt: 11 N·m (1.1 kgf-m, 8.0 lbf-ft)
• Install the brake pedal. (17-20)
• Install the kick starter lever. (8-7, -8)
a Length: 60 mm (2.4 in)
b Length: 30 mm (1.2 in)
c Length: 25 mm (1.0 in)
WATER PUMP CASE
• Install the dowel pins 1 and oil filter 2.
• Install the spring 3 and gasket 4.
• Apply engine coolant to the gasket 4.

• Fit the water pump case 5.
• Tighten the water pump case bolts (d, e, f) and drain bolt
6 to the specified torque.

 Water pump case bolt: 11 N·m (1.1 kgf-m, 8.0 lbf-ft)
Engine coolant drain bolt: 11 N·m (1.1 kgf-m, 8.0 lbf-ft)
• Connect the radiator hose 7 and pour engine coolant.

INSPECTION AFTER INSTALLATION
• Engine oil level and leakage (2-12)
• Engine coolant level and leakage (2-18, -19)
Replace the gasket 2 with a new one.
Replace the gasket 4 with a new one.
Replace the gasket washer A with a new one.
