It is possible to adjust the axial play of the quick release barrel nut stacking or removing items #2: Quick
release shims.
The shims are available in two different thicknesses, 0.3 mm and 0.5 mm. Please find below a table with the
reference part number.

The number and stack of shims are free.
If the shims are installed pay particular attention to the alignment of the barrel nut profile and the axis of
the centering bush. With reference to the picture below:
• In yellow the barrel nut in lock closed position
• In light blue the centering bush
Be careful to avoid any excessive misalignment to prevent damages to the centering bushing and to the
retaining pins.
