Section 4 – SR-2 Operation
Mode
Various operating modes can be selected using the Mode menu. Not all modes may be available, depending on
OptiSet usage and settings of other programmable features. The following modes may be available.
Turn Cycle Sentry On or Off
Cycle Sentry Mode can be turned On or Off if Cycle Sentry Mode is allowed by OptiSet. If Cycle Sentry is turned
off the unit runs in Continuous mode, unless Continuous Mode is not allowed by OptiSet. Either Cycle Sentry or
Continuous operation can be disabled via OptiSet.
Keypad Lockout
The keypad can be locked to prevent unauthorized use. If the keypad is locked only the On and Off keys
function. The keypad will remain locked even if the unit is turned off and back on. If Keypad Lockout is active,
press and hold any soft key for 5 seconds to deactivate the feature.
Start Sleep Mode
Sleep Mode is used to keep the engine warm and the battery charged when the unit is not in use. When the unit
is Sleep Mode the display will show “SLEEP” and the current time.
• Program Wakeup Time This feature allows a wakeup time to be specified. When the selected time is
reached the unit will start and resume normal operation.
If Wakeup Time is selected:
• Day to Wake Up This feature allows the day the unit is to wake up to be specified.
• Hour to Wake Up This feature allows the hour the unit is to wake up to be specified.
• Minute to Wake Up This feature allows the minute the unit is to wake up to be specified.
• Run Pretrip on Wakeup This feature allows a Pretrip Test to be automatically run when the unit wakes
up.
