Optimizing the Compound Signal
You can increase the signal from your analyte, by using the Optimization pane in Tune to
optimize the MS parameters.
Performing Compound Optimization Animation
1. Go to thermofisher.com.
2. In the search field, type TSQ Altis, TSQ Quantis, or TSQ Fortis.
3. Click the Catalog tab and then the instrument name.
4. Scroll down until you see the Product overview, Videos, and Documents tab.
5. Click the Videos tab and on the right, click Performing compound optimization.
Setting Up for Compound Optimization
You optimize the signal of the compound with the LC conditions used to analyze it. This is a
high-flow infusion technique, in which a Tee union directs the analyte from the syringe pump
into an LC flow.
