Multicast routing protocol
set no-multicast-static-group ….
COMMANDS FOR GENERIC MULTICASTS
set multicast-route-limit <value> [drop]
Allows the display of a warning message (syslog) when the established limit is reached. With the
option drop the route is not created.
There are commands useful to analyse and diagnose Multicast traffic. The most useful are:
set multicast-accept-icmp-echo on
set multicast-accept-icmp-echo off
used to enable and disable answer to ICMP packets received on a multicast address.
mtrace <source-host> <group-addr>
used to make a trace of multicast routes.
