set qos-ext filter-group 100
set qos-ext filter-group 100 chain pre-routing
set qos-ext filter-group 100 match src-ip 172.151.1.0/24
set qos-ext class RT filter group 100
set qos-ext class RT filter set ipp 4
To reserve a portion of bandwidth to traffic on control bgp, you can declare a class:
set qos-ext class BGP
set qos-ext class BGP policy ...
assign to it a minimum quantity of the available bandwith:
set qos-ext class BGP bandwidth percent 1
and let the packets that have value as 0x30 dscp dscp cs6 equivalent to the class flow in there:
set qos-ext class BGP filter match dscp-class cs6
OUTPUT BANDWIDTH LIMITATION
Without being obliged to use Traffic Shaping classes, in some cases it can be simply necessary to
limit the output traffic from a specific network interface. For this it is available the bandwith
option, which you have to specify when you configure a network interface. For example:
set eth0 bandwidth N
set eth1.10 bandwidth N
set adsl pvc atm0 bandwidth N
where N is a number in Kbit/sec that tells the transmission for the specified interface.
To remove the setting, the command is:
set eth0 no-bandwidth
set eth1.10 no-bandwidth
Alternatively, you can use the tc command.
For example, in order to limit the output traffic from the eth0 interface to 1 Mbit/sec:
tc qdisc add dev eth0 root tbf rate 1000kbit latency 50ms burst 20000
In order to display the statistics the command is:
root@Imola> tc -s qdisc ls dev eth0
qdisc tbf 8003: rate 256000bit burst 20000b lat 48.8ms
Sent 573274 bytes 572 pkts (dropped 2, overlimits 720)
In order to eliminate traffic shaping rule the command is:
tc qdisc del dev eth0 root tbf rate 1000kbit latency 50ms burst 20000
The tc command has immediate effect for the current session and will not be automatically
activated at the next reboot. It must be used together either with trigger commands or with
autocmd:
