3.13.2 POW_WAKEUP_INTERVAL
Ver <= 31.0.1: Default 0, Range 0…10080
Ver >= 31.1.0: Default 0, Range 0, 2…10080
Ver <= 31.0.1
Not Used.
Ver >= 31.1.0
The Main-Unit Power-Save SLEEP function is enabled when
POW_WAKEUP_INTERVAL >= 2.
Range is 0 + 2 … 10080 [minutes] (that is:
DISABLE + 2 minutes … 1 week).
Power to BUC, LNB, TX-board and RX-board are turned OFF (only Main-Board is alive) when
unit is sleeping. Minimum power is consumed (approx 11 W).
In addition to POW_WAKEUP_INTERVAL, one (or both) of the following MIBs should be
enabled:
•
POW_LINK_UP_DURATION >= 1 will enable the “Wakeup at Regular Intervals” function.
Main-Unit will wake up (power ON) every
POW_WAKEUP_INTERVAL minutes. Then
connection to remote will be established, and when Link has been UP
POW_LINK_UP_DURATION minutes it will go to sleep (power OFF).
•
COM_SIGNAL_IN [n] >= 1 will enable the “Wakeup by Connected Application” function.
Main-Unit will wake up (power ON) when the Connected Application enable
DTR/CTS.
Then connection to remote will be established, and when Link has been UP for at least 2
minutes, it will go to sleep (power OFF) when the Connected Application disable
DTR/CTS.
As a safety precaution, the Main-Unit wills always
wakeup at the time defined by
POW_WAKEUP_INTERVAL and POW_WAKEUP_FIRST_TIME if the Connected Application
for some reason doesn’t wakeup the Main-Unit.
Minimum wait time is
POW_WAKEUP_INTERVAL. Maximum time is the double.
When RT is going to sleep, it will first send a
LINK_DISCONNECT message to HUB, wait 1
second, and turn power OFF. When HUB is going to sleep, it will just wait 1 second and turn
power OFF.
3.13.3 POW_LINK_UP_DURATION
Default 0, Range 0…1440
Ver <= 31.0.1
Not Used.
Ver >= 31.1.0
Controls SLEEP mode operation – Regular Intervals.
Used when the Main-Unit Power-Save function is enabled by POW_WAKEUP_INTERVAL >= 2.
Define the time Link should be UP, and then turn power OFF.
Range is 0 … 1440 [minutes] (that is:
DISABLE + 1 minute … 1 day).
