3.1.8 PORT_PARITY [n]
Default 0, Range 0…2
Set Parity
• Not Used when PORT is connected to SOCKET or IP-STACK.
• Used when PORT is connected to Local-COM, or Remote-COM via “TSAT Comport Server”.
Value Description
0 NO parity
1 EVEN parity
2 ODD parity
3.1.9 PORT_FLOW_CTRL [n]
Default 0, Range 0…2
Set Flow-Control.
• Not Used when PORT is connected to SOCKET or IP-STACK.
• Used when PORT is connected to Local-COM, or Remote-COM via “TSAT Comport Server”.
Value Description Note
0 NO flow-control
Data may be lost if any of the internal buffers
become full.
1 HW flow-control (RTS / CTS)
The COM-driver will set the RTS line when it is
prepared to receive data, and stop transmitting
data when the CTS signal is inactive.
2 SW flow-control (XON / XOFF)
For 7 bits ASCII transfer only. The COM-driver
should send the XOFF character when it is
busy and the XON character when it is
prepared to receive data. When the XON or
XOFF character is received, the COM-driver
should start or stop transmitting data.
NOTE: Not supported by Local-COM.
