3.1.18 PORT_STREAM_RT [n]
Default –1, Range –1…12287 (0x2FFF)
• Not Used when PORT_TYPE [n] is SERVICE.
In this case, RT-Address is included in received packets from NMS.
• Used when
PORT_TYPE [n] is STREAM, ADAPTER or NETWORK.
All User-Data received from this PORT will be sent to the indicated Unit(s).
Value Hex Description
HUB .
–1 0xFFFF.FFFF

4097 …8191 0x1001 … 0x1FFF
CLUSTER Address 1 … 4095.
That is all RTs with NET_FIRST_POLL_RT equal lower 12 bits

PORT_STREAM_RT.
An RT can be member of max 5 GROUPs.
Membership is defined by
NET_GROUPS [1…5].

GROUP Address 101 … 4095.
n/a – Highest GROUP Address is 100.
Use
PORT_STREAM_RT and PORT_STREAM_RT_PORT [n] to define Leased Lines:
• HUB Ù RT Leased Line
See next page.
• RT Ù RT Leased Line
RT:
PORT_STREAM_RT = RT, BROADCAST, GROUP or CLUSTER.
PORT_STREAM_RT_PORT = PORT(s) at remote RT.
• LOCAL Leased Line
HUB:
PORT_STREAM_RT = HUB.
PORT_STREAM_RT_PORT = PORT(s) at local HUB.
RT: PORT_STREAM_RT = NET_RT_ADDRESS.
PORT_STREAM_RT_PORT = PORT(s) at local RT.
Note: Just for fun, it’s possible to route User-Data from one PORT to other PORT(s) within
the same local Unit. Why should you do this?
