3.9.7 MAC_SLOT_REQ_RSV_SOURCE

This parameter controls which
kind of packets that can request the “Slot Request and
Reservation” facility for Inbound slots.
MAC_SLOT_REQ_RSV_SOURCE is only used when this
facility is enabled by
MAC_SLOT_REQ_RSV.
Value 0 (zero) will allow all Inbound packets to request for Inbound slots. Otherwise, only data
from the specified source(s) may do so – as indicated in table below:

facility, and set
MAC_SLOT_REQ_RSV_SOURCE = 8. By this way, only voice-data (RTP
packets) will make requests for extra Inbound slots.
