HUB Configuration
Bits Field Value Mnemonic Description
0 – 6 0x0000.007F 0 – 100
SRR_PERCENT
0, 1 (default) => value 50 [%].
When
SRR_FIXED is FALSE, the HUB will
maximum allocate
SRR_PERCENT [%] semi-
random slots for Inbound slot reservation.
7 0x0000.0080 0 – 1
SRR_FIXED
FALSE: Enable “Random” slot allocation.
Maximum number of allocated slots is
defined by
SRR_PERCENT.
TRUE: Enable “Fixed” slot allocation.
Maximum number of allocated slots, and
slot-priority, is defined by
MAC_SLOT_MAP_0 [3.9.4].
8 – 14 0x0000.7F00 0 – 127
SSR_SLOTS
0 (default) => value 8 [slots].
HUB will reserve
SRR_SLOTS number of future
slots to the RT each time it receives a request
for Inbound slots. No more than
SRR_MAX_SLOTS [slots] may be reserved for
each RT.
15 0x0000.8000 0 – 1
SSR_HIGH_
PRIO
Define the order of which the requests with
different
priorities are served.
FALSE: All requests are served (round-robin),
but more slots are allocated to higher-
priority than to the lower-priority requests.
TRUE: All high-priority requests are served
before any lower-priority requests are
handled.
16 – 20 0x001F.0000 0 – 31
SSR_UNITS
0 (default) => value 8 [RTs].
Maximum number of RTs that is allowed to
have simultaneously pending requests.
RTs with low-priority requests are preempted
when higher-priority requests are received.
21 0x0020.0000 0 – 1
SRR_NO_
BUSY_WARN
Normally, the HUB will issue a “Bad Timing”
WARNING when request for Inbound slots is
received at the same
point of time as
Outbound packets are sent to the DSP.
Enable option to suppress this WARNING.
22 0x0040.0000 0 – 1
SRR_SHOW_
REQUEST
CCU-MSG when the HUB receives a request
for Inbound slots, and also when slot-
reservations are signaled to the RTs.
23 0x0080.0000 0 – 1
SRR_SHOW_
QUEUE
CCU-MSG when RTs are inserted and
removed from the list of requesting RTs.
24 – 30 0x7F00.0000 0 – 127
SRR_MAX_
SLOTS
0 (default) => 127 [slots].
Maximum
SRR_MAX_SLOTS [slots] may be
reserved for any RT.
31 0x8000.0000 0 – 1
SRR_TEST_
QUEUE
TEST: Normally, RTs will be removed from list
of requesting RTs when all requests have
been served.
Enable option to keep RTs in this list (forever)
until RT signal “no-request” or RT is
