3.8.4 LCC_MAX_LINK_RETRIES
Default 5, Range 0…255
Set the maximum number of attempts to retransmit a LINK_RESET packet.
The retransmission timeout is defined by
LCC_{MIN | MAX}_RESET_RETRANS_DELAY.
Value Description
0
HUB will never
stop retransmitting LINK_RESET packets to RTs.
RT will never
stop retransmitting LINK_RESET packets to HUB,
and it will never
RESET itself due to too many LINK_RESET packets.
1 … 255
HUB will stop retransmitting
LINK_RESET packets to RTs after this number
of retransmissions.
RT will RESET itself after this number of retransmissions,
and also when it has received more than this number of
LINK_RESET
packets from HUB.

3.8.5 LCC_MAX_{APPL | MNGT}_PKT_AGE
Default 120, Range 0…3600
LCC_MAX_APPL_PKT_AGE: Sets the maximum lifetime of User-Data.
LCC_MAX_MNGT_PKT_AGE: Sets the maximum lifetime of Management-Data.
Value Description
0 Data will never be discarded due to age.
1 … 3600 Lifetime in seconds.
When lifetime expires, the packet will be discarded from the various Rx/Tx-Queues and a
WARNING will be issued.
• Transmission-Queue: Packets scheduled for transmission on satellite link.
• Acknowledge-Queue: Secure-Link packets that have been sent, but not acknowledged yet.
They may be retransmitted after
LCC_{MIN | MAX}_RETRANS_DELAY.

• Receive-Queue: Secure-Link packets received out-of-order are stored in Receive-Queue
before they are sent to “Packetizer” in correct order.

• Packetizer-Queue: Received satellite link packets may be queued and concatenated before
they are passed on to Application.
