3.3 COM PARAMETERS
Define COM Ports used for communication to/from this Main-Unit.
3.3.1 COM_MAX_COMS
Default 2, Range 0…8
Set number of Local-COMs. I.e. COM ports on this Main-Unit.
Note: The current COM-Driver does only support two COM ports, and you’ll not be allowed to
Open COM [3 …8].
3.3.2 COM_SIGNAL_IN [n]
Ver <= 30.7.0: Default 0, Range 0…3
Ver == 30.8.0…31.0.1: Default 0, Range 0…0
Ver >= 31.1.0: Default 0, Range 0…4
Ver <= 31.0.1
Not Used.
Ver >= 31.1.0
Controls SLEEP mode operation – Connected Application.
Used when the Main-Unit Power-Save function is enabled by POW_WAKEUP_INTERVAL >= 2.
Define which Input signal that controls the SLEEP mode:
COM_SIGNAL_IN
Description
0 Disable – Normal operation
1 Sleep when DTR is OFF Wakeup when DTR is ON
2 Sleep when DTR is ON Wakeup when DTR is OFF
3 Sleep when CTS is OFF Wakeup when CTS is ON
4 Sleep when CTS is ON Wakeup when CTS is OFF
The appropriate PORT(s) must be enabled (Open).
Hardware flow-control must be disabled if CTS signal is used to control SLEEP mode.
Normally, only one of the COM Ports will be used to control SLEEP mode.
However, if
COM_SIGNAL_IN > 0 on both Open COM Ports, the following rules apply:
- The Main-Unit will go to sleep when both COM Ports indicate SLEEP.
- The Main-Unit will wake up when at least one COM Port indicate AWAKE.
