TSAT 3000 - Telemetry and data transfer via SATellite
TSAT 3000 Configuration Parameter Description, January 2013 Page 84 of 124
3.11.13 PHL_TARGET_UW_POSITION
Default –1, Range –1…10.000.000
The MIB parameter is expressed in micro-seconds (i.e. range is 0…10 seconds).
HUB: Used by the Slot Phase Setpoint Auto-Correction facility. The UW position (received from
DSP) defines the point of time at which the HUB receives packets from RTs. It’s a time
measurement in the range 0 …
MAC_TIMESLOT_LENGTH. It’s important that HUB receive
packets from all RTs at exactly the same point of time, and the
PHL_TARGET_UW_POSITION
defines which
point of time.
Value Description
–1
Init
PHL_TARGET_UW_POSITION to the UW position received when HUB get
in-lock to the first RT. This value will be used until HUB get out-of-lock, and
re-initialised when HUB once again get in-lock to RTs.
0 … 10.000.000
Set fixed
PHL_TARGET_UW_POSITION.
It should not
be set larger than MAC_TIMESLOT_LENGTH.
See PHL_SLOT_PHASE_SETPOINT for description of Slot Phase Setpoint Auto-Correction.
RT: Not Used, but operator may read back CURRENT UW-Position received from DSP. This
value will typically wrap-around the range 0 …
MAC_TIMESLOT_LENGTH.
