TSAT 3000 - Telemetry and data transfer via SATellite
TSAT 3000 Configuration Parameter Description, January 2013 Page 37 of 124
3.3.3 COM_SIGNAL_OUT [n]
Ver <= 30.7.0: Default 0, Range 0…3
Ver >= 30.8.0: Default 0, Range 0…5
Ver <= 30.7.0
Not Used.
Ver >= 30.8.0
The state of COM’s DSR output signal (pin 6) is controlled by this parameter.
Value Mnemonic Description
0 DSR_ON DSR is always ON
1 DSR_OFF DSR is always OFF
2 DSR_LINK_UP
Enable the Link-Up detection facility:
HUB: Depending on the value of
PORT_STREAM_RT [n]:
Single RT:
DSR is ON when link to specified RT is UP.
GROUP:
DSR is ON when link to at least one of the RTs
in the GROUP is UP.
BROADCAST:
DSR is ON when link to at least one RT is UP.
RT:
DSR is ON when link to HUB is UP. Otherwise, signal is OFF.
3 DSR_LINK_DOWN
Same behavior as described for the DSR_LINK_UP option above,
but the logic is inverted. I.e. the DSR signal is set ON when the
satellite link is DOWN.
4 DSR_TX_ON
Normally, DSR is OFF, but it is set ON while data is transmitted to
COM port. Timing is controlled by COM_SIGNAL_DATA_DELAY [n]
and
COM_SIGNAL_HOLD [n].
5 DSR_TX_OFF
Same behavior as described for the DSR_TX_ON option above,
but the logic is inverted. I.e. the DSR signal is set OFF while data is
transmitted to COM port.
