TSAT 3000 - Telemetry and data transfer via SATellite
TSAT 3000 Configuration Parameter Description, January 2013 Page 50 of 124
3.6 SWITCH PARAMETERS
Main-Unit is equipped with a number of switches to control miscellaneous functions.
3.6.1 SWITCH_{RX | TX}_XXX
Default 0, Range 0…1 – Volatile
Ver <= 30.3.1
Not Implemented.
Ver >= 30.4.0
You can both read and write the CURRENT value of all onboard switches.
The MIB names describe the usage of these switches:
SWITCH_RX_SIGNAL Enable/disable RX Signal.
SWITCH_RX_10MHZ Enable/disable 10 MHz reference to LNB.
SWITCH_RX_LNB_POWER Enable/disable LNB power.
SWITCH_RX_POWER Enable/disable RX power.
SWITCH_TX_SIGNAL Enable/disable TX signal.
SWITCH_TX_10MHZ Enable/disable 10 MHz reference to BUC.
SWITCH_TX_BUC_POWER Enable/disable BUC power.
SWITCH_TX_POWER Enable/disable TX power.
SWITCH_TX_RESET Enable/disable TX Reset.
3.6.2 SWITCH_RX_{10MHZ | LNB_POWER}_DELAY
Default 0, Range 0…60
Ver <= 31.0.0
Not Implemented.
Ver >= 31.0.1
By setting
SWITCH_RX_10MHZ_DELAY and/or SWITCH_RX_LNB_POWER_DELAY different to
zero, the DC Power and/or 10 MHz reference to LNB will be turned OFF when CCU is booting,
and turned ON after the specified time [seconds].
This function could perhaps make some LNBs with strange behavior (or impedance
mismatch?) to operate normally. It’s recommended to set
SWITCH_RX_10MHZ_DELAY less
than
SWITCH_RX_LNB_POWER_DELAY, so that the 10 MHz will be turned ON before the
Power is turned ON. This functionality is disabled when:
MIB value is zero.
Configuration parameters
UseLNBPower / UseLNBRefSignal in “hw.conf” are disabled.
Startup-tests have detected RX fault and disabled LNB Power or LNB Reference.
SWITCH_RX_LNB_POWER or SWITCH_RX_10MHZ have been temporary disabled by operator.
Note 1: This function will normally not
be activated when DSP is restarted, but you may send
the Text-Command “dsp init lnb” to manually toggle LNB Power and/or 10 MHz
OFF-ON (as specified by MIB values).
Note 2: Ver >= 30.5.0 – LNB Power will always
be turned OFF for at least 2 seconds when
Spectrum has been read 20 times, without being able to find HUB carrier.
