2. Type in the new dose grid resolution and Click > OK.

ter your Username and Password and Click > Authenticate.
The dose grid is now updated with your resolution change.
6.31 IMRT Interdigitation
Selecting this feature allows interdigitation of the MLC leaves. Interdigitation of the MLC
leaves enables more complex segments to be delivered which may lead to fewer segments
and could potentially decrease delivery time.
6.32 MRIdian® System Algorithms
The MRIdian system uses two methods of Monte Carlo dose computation algorithms.
Both Mon
te Carlo algorithms —With Magnetic Field and Without Magnetic Field, use the
same techniques to perform a highly optimized simulation of the photons that are created in
the source volume and their interactions with the various components of the treatment
delivery system such as source capsule, materials surrounding the source, the MLC, the
gradient coils, etc.
