Tasks
4.1 Starting Up the Planning Consoles
Your system is ready for use after power-on and the Windows® login prompt appears on the
screen.
1. En
ter your username and password in the login prompt window.
2.
Click >
OK.
Once logged in, the MRIdian® software will automatically start up. You may not
exit the MRIdian system software while the system is running. Several system
startup checks will be performed when the software starts up. These checks
include:
Activation check—Checks that the software has been activated for use by ViewRay
personnel during installation.
CRC check—Check
s that system files have not been modified or corrupted.
Database check—Ch
ecks that the software can connect to the MRIdian system
database.
Graphics check—Checks that the system has the required Visage dongle for the
visualization rendering license.
Auto-save check—Check
s if an auto-save file exists. For example, if the system was
previously shut down due to power-loss or an error and a plan file was auto-saved,
the user will be offered the option to restore the plan to the last auto-saved state.
MRIdian system software is only authorized for use on ViewRay-provided
computers, workstations/hardware. MRIdian system software may not be
trans
ferred to other computer systems. If that is attempted, the software
activation check will fail, preventing startup.
