Solution:
1. Make sure the carcass conveyor is in the Body-ply position. Next feed Body-ply
material under the camera. Using VVSU, you can see the actual width measured by
the camera.
2. In the VVSU select the appropriate conveyor (for example, Body-ply), and select the
CALIBRATION tab.
The actual measured width is now displayed in the MEASURED WIDTH (MM) field.
3. If the measured width in the VVSU does not reflect the actual width:
Adjust the 'Delta Body' value to increase or decrease the measured width.
The 'Delta Body' can be found in the SYSTEM tab of the corresponding conveyor/
material.
Increase of the width template underneath the Carcass Conveyor results in a smaller
measured width.
After both carcass cameras have been calibrated successful, the sensor system is
calibrated using a width template (for example, a template of 500 mm).
In order to make sure that the calibration is successful, a template of 800 mm is put
underneath the two camera system. Using VVSU you can check the width measured by the
camera.
