8.7.1 Sudden conveyor movement in one direction
Problem:
During breaker centering the conveyor suddenly moves to a certain direction.
Cause:
During the breaker centering the cutter conveyor is seen by the camera (see illustration).
The cutter conveyor which is seen by the camera is interpreted as a material edge. Due to
this disturbance the guiding set point which is sent to the actuator does not reflect the
material error.
Solution:
Conveyor should stay out of the camera field. Make sure that the camera alignment is done
in such a way that the camera does not see the cutter conveyor when the conveyor is in its
outer limits.
