MVW01 WC (WATER COOLED)
6.5.3 Hydraulic Connections of the Primary Circuit (Inverter)
Primary circuit: It is a closed circuit composed of two pumps, a heat exchanger, an expansion tank, flow indicators, flow, temperature, and
pressure sensors, besides that, there are valves for diferente purposes. With the regulation valves present in the pipeline, it is possible to adjust
the water flow in each power arm, rectifier and reactor heat exchanger.
Table 6.4: Flow for the Primary Circuit
Componet
Flow
Inverter arm
20 l/min
Rectifier (6 pulse)
20 l/min
Reactor heat exchanger
15 l/min
The fluid remove the heat from the inverters and components being cooled and then transports to the heat exchanger where it transfers it to
the secondary circuit.
NOTE!
The nominal pressure in the primary circuit is 4 bar (3.5 bar minimum). The pressure cannot exceed 10 bar, pressures over
that can damage the inverter components.
