8. Prepare to remove the MEA unit cover open, Figure 7.
NOTE: Removing the 4 screws that secure the guide - M scan assembly will ease the
removal of the MEA unit cover open.

Remove 4 screws.

Open the MEA unit - cover
open

Disconnect CN5 and 1 ground
harness.

Align the flat on the rear pivot with
the slot in the frame. Remove the
MEA unit - cover open from the rear
pivot, then the front pivot.

guide duplex.
