3.3.9 Replacing the filter in the
transmitted light filter wheel
• Take off stage carrier, condenser, and
condenser carrier (see sections 3.1.9, 3.1.10
and 3.1.12).
• Take off the cover plate (Figure 3-41/1) from
the stand base.
• Pull the filter to be replaced (Figure 3-41/2) up
and out of the corresponding position of the
filter wheel (Figure 3-41/3) using a pair of
tweezers.
• Insert a new filter into the filter wheel
(Figure 3-41/3).
A filter position is always designed as a
permanently installed shutter position.
• Repeat the procedure for more filter wheel
positions as required.
• Insert the cover plate (Figure 3-41/1), and press
it down.
• Attach stage carrier, condenser, and condenser
carrier (see sections 3.1.9, 3.1.10 and 3.1.12).
