Once setup is complete, press to begin monitoring CO

on the screen and displays the message, INITIALIZING. The CO

display gives the current

value, and after a delay of approximately 1 minute, the patient’s Respiration Rate (in
Breaths/Minute), identified as

Check that connections have been made correctly by verifying the display a proper capnogram
(the waveform is inserted automatically on the waveform display window).
