4.MasterNode
Masternodeistheprimarycontrolnode.Theprimaryringand
thesegmentofeachlevelhaveanoderespectively(Itcanbe
combinedtoone,masteredge-port).Ittakeschargeinthe
controloftheprimaryringandthesegmentofeachlevel.
5.TransmissionNode
ThenodesexceptthemasternodeinZESRringaretransmis-
sionnode.Itmainlyassiststhemastertodoloopinspection
andserviceswitching.
6.EdgeNode
Thenodeconnectswithmorethan2levelsinZESRringis
callededgenode.Theedgenodecanbetransmissionnode
(contains2ports),masternode(contains2ports)orassistant
port(contains1port).
7.AssistantNode
Theassistantportisalsoedgeport.Itisthetransmission
nodethathasonlyoneportintherelativesegment.Itmainly
assiststhemasternodetoachieveserviceswitchingforthe

Figure”,majorringiscomposedofS1,S2,S3andS4.Of
whichS1ismasternode,othersaretransmissionnode.Level1
segment1iscomposedofS3,S4,S5andS6.OfwhichS3and

node.Level1segment2iscomposedofS3,S4andS7.Of
whichS3andS4areassistantnodes,S7ismasternode.
