connected),thenHEALTHpacketisreceivedbythesecondary
port,ifthesecondaryportdoesnotreceivetheHEALTHpacket,
thenthelinkstateislinkfailure.
2.Whenthereismalfunctionsomewhere,theadjacentnodede-
tectsthemalfunctionandinformsthemaster .Theloopislink
failure.
AsshowninFigure51,thetwointerfacesofmasterare:pri-
maryandsecondary.Theloopportisblockedwhenmaster
initializes.Thesecondaryportisblockedwhenthemasterde-
tectsthenormallink.Ifmasterdetectsthedisconnectionof
thelink,thenitforwardsthesecondaryport.Theloopportis
blockedwhenthetransitinitializes.

HEALTHpacketincycle.IfthesecondaryportreceivesHEALTH
