Telnetmodeisoftenusedforconguringaremoteswitch.The
usercanlogintotheremoteswitchthroughtheEthernetportof
thelocalhost.Theloginusernameandpasswordmustbecong-
uredontheswitchandpingtheIPaddressofthelayer3porton
theswitchsuccessfullyonthelocalhost.(ForcongurationofIP
addressofthelayer3port,seeConguringIPPort.)
Usethecommandcreateuser<name>{admin|guest}(the
lengthofusernamedoesnotexceed15characters)tocreatea
newmanagementuser ,thecommandsetuserlocal<name>
login-password[<string>](thelengthoflogin-passworddoes
notexceed16characters)tosettheloginpassword.
Usethecommandsetuser{local|radius}<name>admin-pa
ssword<string>(thelengthofadmin-passworddoesnotexceed
16characters)tosetadministratorpassword.
Note:
Thedefaultusernameisadminandthepasswordiszhongxing.
Thedefaultmanagementpasswordisnull.
