3.OAMRemoteLoopback
ZXR102900seriesswitchprovidesoptionaldatalinklayer
framelevelloopbackmodebyOAMfunction.OAMremote
loopbackisusedtolocatefailureandexaminethelinkper-
formance.WhenremoteDTEisontheOAMremoteloopback
mode,thestatisticdataoflocalandremoteDTEcanbein-
quiredandcomparedatanytime.Meanwhile,OAMloopback
framecanbeanalyzedtoobtaintheadditionalinformationof
linkhealth(framediscardduetothelinkfailure).
4.LinkMonitoring
ZXR102900seriesswitchmonitorsandexaminesthelink
state,andannouncesthespeciedframeeventsbyOAM
function.Thespeciedframeeventscanbeclassiedinto
fourtypes:errorsymbolperiodevent,errorframeeventand
errorframeperiodevent,errorframe-secondstatisticevent.
Afterinspectingtheerror ,OAMwillrespondandalarmthe
peerdevicebyannouncementmechanism.
