Chapter 6 - Electrical installation
6.7.3 Cable connection
Connect all cables according to Appendix E - Wiring diagrams,
l
ocated on the CD.
Connect cables for digital and analog input and output signals to th
e

OEC2 and 4 modules on the left wall of the control compartment
.
Connect control cables for the MV switchgear to the X10 termin
al
block and IOEC2 module.
See Appendix G - MV switchgear guide, located on the CD, for detailed
cable connection information.
Connect fieldbus communications cables directly to the fiel
dbus
i
nterface.
If twisted pair cables are used, leave the unshielded cable ends
twisted until they reach the terminals.
Connect the individual cable shields to the PE terminals.
Use the supplied customer cable raceway to fasten the cables. See
3 in Figure 6-12.
6.7.3.1 Terminal sizes
The terminals are suitable for wires with a maximum cross-section of 0.2
to 2.5 mm
2
[24 to 12 AWG]. Maximum torque is 2.0 Nm [17.7 in-lbs].
The PE terminals can accommodate shielded cables up to 17 mm [0.67 in]
in diameter.
