Troubleshooting
The chapter lists fault, warning, and event messages including possible causes and
corrective actions.
Fault, warning, and event codes
The fault and warning code is displayed on the control panel, as well as on the Drive
composer PC tool. A fault and warning message indicates an abnormal status. Most fault
and warning causes can be identified and corrected using the information in this chapter.
Otherwise, contact your local FIMER representative. In addition to faults and warnings,
there are pure events that are only recorded in the event logs of the inverter.
Faults
Faults stop the inverter and requires manual or automatic reset. Some faults cannot be
reset and requires inverter restart. See section Reset a fault. For the list of fault codes, see
in table Fault messages generated by the inverter (page 155).
Warnings
Warnings provide information about abnormal conditions. Warnings might indicate limited
output power and might prevent inverter from starting (see parameter 173.05 Internal
inverter inhibitors 1, 173.06 Internal inverter inhibitors 2 and 173.07 Internal inverter
inhibitors 3). For the list of warning codes, see in table Warning messages generated by
the inverter (page 166).
Pure events
Pure events indicate abnormal conditions, for example, tripping events due to grid
disturbances. For the list of pure event codes, see in table Pure events generated by the
inverter (page 177).
